Highlights

  • We’ve kicked off our 4th Sprint! Milestones to be shared in upcoming strand meetings. To preview, see here.

  • Flex Programs preparing for third and final Curriculum Design workshop taking place on February 12-13. The focus will be learning outlines and program structure.

  • Our timeline for launching inaugural Jayhawk Flex Programs is now August 2025. A Flex program could launch earlier in 2025 if the infrastructure is in place to support it.

Credit Equivalency Workgroup met and made a working decision: Flex programs should have 1-2 competencies per credit hour.

Curriculum & Learning

Discussion on Final Grading Policy continued. Working decision reached - see Jayhawk Flex Decisions.

  • Next meeting we’ll review a consolidated one-pager on our academic & grading decisions made to date. If time permits, we’ll begin discussions on our Credit for Prior Learning vision for Jayhawk Flex.

In our next meeting we’ll discuss follow ups from the Business Process Mapping retreat and define a process for creating a CBE Tech Roadmap.

Policy & Regulatory Compliance

Working across strands to gather the components of the HLC application, with goal of submitting the CBE Project Management program to HLC this Spring.

HOPE & STEM to be submitted to KBOR together. Drafting a second iteration of the CBE at KU 2-page document to attach to applications.
