Working draft of 10-year Academic Calendar complete.

Credit Equivalency Workgroup met and made a working decision: Flex programs should have 1-2 competencies per credit hour. See additional guidance here.

Curriculum & Learning

Reviewed and discussed first draft of Grading Policy, Vision, and Procedures for Jayhawk Flex graduate programs.

In our next meeting we’ll begin discussions on our Credit for Prior Learning vision for Jayhawk Flex.

Information Technology

Business Process Tech Mapping retreat happened on 1/26. review the output here.

In our last meeting we discussed next steps for creating a CBE Tech Roadmap. Targeting a cross-strand workshop after March 1 that would include the IT, SJS, and BPS strands. We’ll begin exploring possible dates and other cross-strand objectives later this month.

Policy & Regulatory Compliance

Working across strands to gather the components of the HLC application, with goal of submitting the CBE Project Management program to HLC this Spring.

HOPE & STEM programs were submitted to KBOR on Feb 21.  The programs will go through layers of approval that spans from February - June.
