Marie Kohart, MSE

Marie Kohart is a Senior Instructional Designer with a passion for designing engaging learning experiences. With over two decades as a special educator, she has dedicated her career to creating equitable access to high quality educational opportunities for all. At the University of Kansas, she collaborates with the Jayhawk Flex team to design competency-based learning programs. In her previous role as Early Childhood Special Education Fieldwork Coordinator at the University of Kansas, she coordinated field placements, taught courses for both master’s and undergraduate students, and led grant-funded projects to improve training resources for faculty, staff, and field mentors.
