Yihan Qiao, M.S.

Yihan Qiao is an Instructional Designer with the Jayhawk Flex team at the University of Kansas. She holds a master's degree in Educational Technology and Applied Learning Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University. Yihan brings experience in designing learning media, developing educational games, and supporting faculty training initiatives. She is passionate about the power of learning design to foster mutual growth—believing that instructional design is a collaborative journey where she not only supports learners in achieving their goals but also gains valuable insights from their diverse perspectives. Through her work with Jayhawk Flex, she helps develop competency-based programs that are flexible, engaging, and grounded in real-world learning needs.
