Highlights

  • Developing program development timelines with approval pathways for each Inaugural Flex Program. These will be shared in the next few weeks.

  • Canvas add-ons currently being evaluated and demos to be scheduled soon.

  • Jayhawk Flex budget model is currently being drafted. Goal is to have proposed tuition rates by end of April.

Business Processes & Systems

Leader: Nick Stevens

Ryan (C-BEN) is drafting the initial academic calendar and financial aid policies as well as writing draft language for academic definitions. Expected completion is this Friday, April 12.

Curriculum & Learning

Leader: Kelli Feldman

In the coming weeks we’ll be strategizing on how to approach Credit for Prior Learning & academic policies, which may involve grouping together into smaller working groups.

Information Technology

Leader: Ed Hudson

Jayhawk Flex IT Roadmap Workshop was held on Thursday March 21 - see output from the workshop here.

IT’s action items from the workshop included scheduling some demos for Canvas add-ons (eLumen Insights, Canvas Credentials, Canvas Catalog), beginning to test Kite integration with Canvas and creating a rubric for 3rd party tools.

Policy & Regulatory Compliance

Next Meeting: Apr 19

Working across strands to gather the components of the HLC application, with goal of submitting the CBE Project Management program to HLC by end of May.

HOPE & STEM programs were submitted to KBOR on Feb 21.  The programs will go through layers of approval that spans from February - June.

Student Journey Supports

Playbooks are being created for each core service area for shared use and shared understanding.

Student services FTE allocations data has been input into our draft financial model.
