Highlights
- A tuition model recommendation has been made by the Budget & Finance workgroup. This decision is expected to be finalized at the December Steering Committee meeting.
- The HLC application for Project Management was recommended for approval by the Change Panel and will be on the agenda for final HLC approval January 6-7.
- The Competency-Based Research Journal published it's first issue on November 8. Review the first publication here!

Workgroup Updates
Budget & Finance
- A recommendation has been made for the tuition model and is expected to be finalized at the next Steering Committee meeting. Timing for submission of the tuition model to KBOR will be revisited in February. .

Policy
- Policies for review have been prioritized and stakeholders have been identified.
- Financial Aid & Registrar policies are underway; publishing pathway dependent on approvals by HLC & USDE.
- Currently drafting grading policies.

Program Governance
- The HLC Application for Project Management was submitted and recommended for approval by the Change Panel. It will be reviewed for final approval at the January 6-7 HLC IAC meeting. We've kicked off the HLC application exercise with the HOPE team, and will be orienting the STEM team to the application on December 9.

Learning & Assessment Experience
- As a follow-up from the Canvas template review, the Jayhawk Flex design team will be holding a series of virtual User Experience Testing Sessions to gather feedback on parts of the prototyped competency outlines in Canvas in mid-January. The objective is to gain clarity on the best user experience, particularly in the areas of terminology and competency navigation.

Enrolled Student Support
- Last meeting this group reviewed the degree sequence for one of the inaugural programs and discussed what information would be needed for a student progress dashboard.

Enrollment Management
- This group has been meeting to collaborate on several threads of work needed to lay the groundwork for Jayhawk Flex infrastructure, including Student Lifecycle Technology, Financial Aid, Admissions, Marketing, and more.
